    Have any of your Versa Max shooters modified your Feed Latch Assembly to make loading easier? Shot with a guy who had made the notches deeper to make it easier to get the rim of the case past the feed latch...can't seem to find much into online. 1 - How easy is the mod to do? 2 - How deep to go with the notches? 3 - Other words of advice?

    GunCat, Thanks for the pics. My POI is high right now, but figure that I an get that all adjusted with raising the front FO...got to do some thinking on the right combination. Do you think the better location for the rear sight is back towards the chamber end or in the middle where the mid bead is located...especially for older eyes?

    Nathan, Not hijacking...looks like a couple of us are interested. I am interested in a folding sight because most of the time we are shooting plates, and I don't want to be "hindered" with a rear sight. And I want to be able to "sight in" for slugs. I shot a few groups today at 50 yards with two different brand of slugs. Each brand grouped in an entirely different location. I would like to buy a couple hundred slugs, sight it in, and be done with it until I run out of that batch of slugs. At $.75 a shot...not to mention the abuse to my shoulder...

    I am contemplating installing a Ruger Flip-up sight on my Versa Max for those "tight" slug shots that some times pop up on Stages. I am interested in install pictures any may have. Has anyone installed the Ruger Flip-up or other rear sight so that is is adjustable for windage and/or elevation? Seems like bending the barrel is a bit of "smoke and mirrors". Then what do you do if you change slugs..brands...low recoil to .non low recoil. What say you?

    My buddy and I shot one match without the lifter welded...not fun. One very sore thumb and one injured thumb by the end of the match.

    Just got my Versa Max from Bennie Hill. The loading port and lifter look good...just need to learn the "Load Two" method....

    The ones that I am looking for are not just t-nuts, but have the hooks to "bit" into the leather

    Looking to get some extra nuts...the ones that go on the inside of the belt for attaching ELS 35 Receiver Plate. Sort of a T-nut with hooks that dig into the belt to keep it from spinning.

    Unmanned ranges are common in my area, but everyone is instructed to have actions open and stand behind the firing line until all clear is called. Shooters police themselves.

    mpk1996, Can you tell me your Safariland belt ordering size and the actual length?

    Can anyone tell me how the belt lengths work? Do I order my pants waist size? Do I measure my waist and add some number of inches?

    Just finished installing a Mr Bullet Feeder on my Dillon 650...was pretty straight forward until I got to getting the bullets to flip over correctly. Just loaded 50 rounds for a test run. Wow...this is great...hopefully continues to work flawlessly.

    I need to reinstall the EZ loader on my Remington 11-87...doesn't seem to be installed correctly...hangs up and the roll pin is bent. Does anyone know the correct size of the roll pin? I am planning on buying a replacement roll pin from McMaster Car and re-installing it correctly. Can anyone send or post the original installation instructions from DMW?
