Got a 2007 Tahoe. Makes some weird noises from auto leveling, auto fwd doesn't engage (though can shift manually into it when needed). Runs fine. Had something in the power steering break a year or two ago - out of warranty and costly. 120,000 miles. I drive it hard and don't get routine maintenance other than oil changes. Mixed feelings.

followed login directions but never got authentication email.

In this particular case, I'd say the magazine retention device(s) are the magazines on either side ! After all, the magazine is obviously retained.

This looks like a place where "may" would be even better than shall.... .

Good answers, thanks

Ok good. Thanks.

Let's set that discussion aside for a moment and say that the 69 are all I have and I wanted to try them.
-
I've just started reloading 69 grain ammo for use in 3-gun. I have read some posts about 2700 fps being an optimal velocity for accuracy. I started with a friend's data and worked up some loads that seemed accurate (< 1 moa at 100 yards) and when I went to chrono I was surprised to find velocity at 2500-2600 fps.
I really need to load some more and test it out extensively at 2-300 yards which is the average high for the 3-gun matches I shoot locally. Before I do I had a couple questions:
The data is:
JP CTR-2 18" 1/8 Wylde barrel
69 grain smk
2.255 +/- .005
CCI SRP
Benchmark 22.4-22.7 grains
22.7 avg 2588
22.4 avg 2501
Questions:
Is there a minimum velocity for 3 gun accuracy?
Is there any reason to try to push the bullets closer to 2700?
If so, is there a downside to the extra 100 + fps?
How fast are YOUR 69 grain loads?
Thank you.

OK, I am far from an expert here, but I have a question. Even if it is not a squib and does go down range isn't there an issue because you know "know" that the round did not meet minimum power factor?
Unless you have a chrono set up to test ammo, you don't "know" anything except the shooter's stated power factor (major/minor). You can certainly test the ammo if you have an official chrono. 5.6.1, appendix C2

Looks to me like "an exception to the sorting process" is UPS-ese for "oh sh-t, what the h-ll is this doing here?"

Oh. Oh well. I guess it has been shot enough that a new HHF was established by the time your score went in...

I'm thinking Chase put some daily limits on debit purchases since Target had a big identity theft issue. It may be related to that.

Based solely on the information you provided I bet it's the follower that has been modified/does not lock the slide back. Start with that.

Looks like from this year 10.6430 is the HHF on it from Limited Nationals.
So that's info for limited.
L10 is (again from nats) 10.1053
May not be current but it's a place to start

SSsanders:
That way ^^ is right. The HHF in limited is from the 2012 nats. Should work. 10.11 is ABOUT a 92.2

If anything, maybe they should've called all the F1 fans to let them know that it was happening.

I've also run MG 147 and Zero 125 jhp. Both equally accurate. I like 125 better. 4.2 vvn320.
Given your choices I would like 124 mg better but it's a subjective thing.

223 conversion and dies (not carbide) 3/25
Stuff arrived 2 weeks ago
Dies arrived today 6/15

What I wonder is about the dilution factor.
I'm assuming that their tasters (at a minimum) have not been able to distinguish between 84 and 90 proof samples. I would also hope that they've done enough field research with regular Makers' consumer to validate the claim.
Bourbon Review says it's good.
Though diluting bourbon sounds like alcohol abuse, I'm sure they planned on some uproar until people taste it.
-
I bet it's fine, it's just Makers....

Lots of new shooters/new gun owners
+
magazine unavailability due to political climate
+
Poor economy
Makes me think it is possible nowadays....
But seems more likely to be an honest mistake.
If not, very depressing.

When I was new to the sport I dreaded/disliked the BIG shotgun stage that required 35+ rounds.
Honestly I now look forward to them and they are probably one of my favorite type of stages to shoot.
I would agree. Not having at least one 35+ round shotgun stage sucks the fun outta the match.
I agree so much that I routinely shoot 35+ shotgun rounds regardless of the stage round count!
How do you remove case lube post loading?

I never clean off case lube.
I tried to tumble loaded rounds once in corn cob to make them shiny and they got a corn cob granule stuck in each hollow point.![](//content.invisioncic.com/r270761/emoticons/default_mad.gif)
Never really saw the point anyway.
One thing I have done is to wipe them in a silicone rag after loading. Makes 'em feel slicker. Still do that occasionally but don't think it's a real issue.
