In high school I was was employed by a McBurger clown.
Nearing shift change we lowly/bored grill cooks would heat up a quarter on the grill and toss it under the time clock Timing IS everything.

You should order that welcome back SVI or STI now so you can pick it up upon your return... Stay safe and have a great time...
This.
I'm likely to give Benny a ring before too long...I miss my M1S90
Thanks for all the well wishes...so far so good.

I don't need to go into details as there is another thread. Here....
Short story...I leave for Saudi tomorrow (7/26/2012) for a 1 year contract with Aramco making pretty doodles on their training manuals....the doodles, diagrams, etc in the manuals...not like when I was a student.
It has been tough with the family and friends but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do. I'm not sure if The Kingdom blocks the benoverse or not yet.
And it will be my first Haaj out of CVG up through Detroit and EU bound then south!
Hope to be back on soon but if not thanks for all the help....y'all know who you are! Heck I might even be able to surf BE in biz class - never been there before

As I'll be in the area this fall I'm thinking of taking in my first F1 race live. I think there is one in UAE this fall...kinda excited - any advice other than meeting the umbrella gals?
-
Bummer dude...
I got sent packing my Aunt...for one of my other cousins. I found a place, learned the lesson you just learned and have been better for it.

I wonder if the fires that would not kill the old growth will kill off the beetles?
Bugs suck.

Too bad the Travis Pastrana segment was a bit short...I wanted to see him jump the car or vice versa...this however will not diminish your viewing pleasure..worth the 9 minutes

Welcome aboard.
I had the X5 Tactical and the Comp. Their grips are a bit different more like the "new" sigs with a slight coke bottle shape. Mag changes were not an issue with either they both fit me well also. I did feel that the safeties were a bit thin/odd shaped but that is personal.
An old sig with GGI work is very hard to beat.
If I were to buy another x5 it would only be the tact since it was AL and ran like a top...miss that gun. The heavy SS guns seem to be a little iffy with extraction...plenty to search on so no need to re discuss that one here.
I wouldn't sell your 226GGI to get either...ymmv.

Mark I think it is a nice way to say the orig poster doesn't know where to put things
Thanks Mods!

Traveling by airline I should clarify - lots of pockets you can cram full so that it becomes like a wearable carry on...it even has pockets big enough for tablet computers...places for things that I don't want to check, cameras, drives, $$ etc...then you take it off to send through the scanner with your "carry on luggage" and you are metal free.
Most of the pockets on this brand are hidden on the inside or pockets within pockets that zip etc...stealthy.

I just got a scottevest...this am...but man has it got some cool features. Tons of extra hidden pockets (doesn't look like you work for the agency - intel or advertising).
Too bad at 100F today it will not get a try out. But when flying in a couple of weeks this will be full...It will likely take weeks for find everything hidden in this thing.
No association just seems to be a cool product.
The coolest part is there are other features that they don't disclose anywhere on their site...nice details.

I got the official - official word and will be headed "east" week of July 9. The reality is hitting all around w friends and fam...but I'm ready to get it on.
Apparently will have to come back stateside in 6 mos. for a few days...which is nice but will be January in the midwest...mixed bag weather and likely 120 degrees colder.
Thanks again to all the help gang!! I'll be checking in but I understand that the "net" is rather....ummm....limited. I hope to be posting photos too but at this point I'm not sure. And so far I haven't - and likely won't be mentioning much on the "social interwebs" fakebook, etc either...
I will have access to my email listed in profile I think but please don't send banned items to me no I don't mean BBQ

Screw it I will just grab another one".
I suppose they can include two of those into each box they sell. So, they users all could do the same trick.
Just like buying an old Jaguar...one to drive while the others in the shop??

How does that cycle with the can on...that is sooo sweet.
I've been thinking about an integral Ruger MKII but this is cool.

And the USPSA logo.
I really shouldn't post while I'm at work. I don't give the threads the attention they deserve.
