Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I used a flashlight & bicycle handlebar mount, mounted to case feeder column. see http://www.ebay.com/itm/321152396454?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and http://www.ebay.com/itm/310396693514?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT hope this helps, tried to include pic, but couldn't figure out how.
  2. If you want to try the plastic bearing, here's Delrin ones, 10 for $6 (+$2 shipping) - incase you have more than one 1050, or want spares. http://www.ebay.com/itm/310209291561?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 They weigh the same as the $6.75 ones above, but other than that I don't know. Ordered some to try.
  3. I ordered these from Amazon. They are 1 7/8" id, 2" od, 1/16" (.07) thickness. From my measurements it seems like they should work. The o-ring goes over the threads, not the shaft. This is a standard "032" size o-ring. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051Y28I2/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Add 10-12 counter-clockwise turns to the spring & hold it while you screw it back together. This keeps some tension trying to make it stay tight. When you just screw it back together after it comes apart, it leaves negative tension on the spring - which trys to unscrew it again. Since I figured out this trick haven't had one come apart or need replacement for over 67,000 rounds. I ordered several spares and haven't needed any of them.
  5. I called Hornady & asked how much. The nice lady said they would send it free for my existing press. She took my info & 3 days later I had it!
  6. I also don't know about the 2200 - but I have 2500 Auto Flow & I really like it. I have over 90,000 cases through it so far & no problems. I run pretty full loads, so I really like the Auto Flo feature. It doesn't remove the need for a media seperator - but it sure makes it a lot less messy to pour the cases along with ~10% of the media into the separator than pouring the whole thing. My only issue has been sometimes forgetting to replace the Auto Flo media plug.
  7. For other LnL AP owners (I have 2 & a 1050 I got from Brian) who are dissatisfied with the belling amount & adjustment with the PTX from Hornady, here's a new product that solves the problems & works for 30 cal up to 50 cal - all with the same PTX. I have no affiliation with the business, but it looks like a neat product. I'm getting one, and after I use it I'll report back.
  8. Very nice idea. I'd like to try to build this for my LnL AP's.
