All east coast
Its about time we got some good action on the East Coast!

Thanks! I can honestly say that after watching James shoot for three days, no one was more shocked than I when they called me out as the winner. He shot incredibly well, and is a great guy to boot.
I can't wait until the showdown in Vegas. Wish Horner could be there, though. What he did was the right thing, and couldn't have been a harder decision to make. My hats off to him.
Why can't Horner be there?

Bring the concept of establishing "Key Targets" into your walkthrough and mental rehersal.
For every KT: You will mentally pause and shoot and call a center hit.
The first shot is always a KT; as is every last shot before you leave a position.
BE there.
I have this problem as well and... Wow! That's a great idea. Thanks!

55gr Xtremes over Winchester 748.
Long Range (100+yds):
69gr Sierra Match Kings over Varget.

Looking forward to hearing results from this powder. Looks interesting...

Another vote for trail running shoes. The traction on them can be aggressive, but unlike cleats, it is soft and won't turn flat wood surfaces (like those "porches" you see on ranges that share with Cowboy Shooters who build permanent structures) into a slip-n-slide. They serve three roles for me. IDPA shoe, USPSA shoe, running shoe.
Here are mine.
Salomon Speed Cross 2
Are these IDPA legal?
I would think they would be legal.
They are a trail running shoe (soft large lugs) and not a cleat (hard plastic or spikes).

I just wish they'd hold some big 3 Gun Nation matches up here in the Northeast!
Everything is so far away!

I have had no problems with Titegroup.
Shooting 40 cal 180's in everything for years.
No glaring reason to spend double on something else.

I've had to replace the firing ping in my Glock 35 after about every 5000 rounds.
The firing pin wears down and is almost rounded when I take it out to replace it with a nice new "pointy" one.
It still fired fine with the "rounded" pin (no misfires ever), it just made me nervous to see it was so visibly worn down.

I call my brother Captain Weaver Stance.
Can't get him to kick the habit...

Do you have any pictures of your lifter welded and bent? I'd like to see what you did. I'm having the same problem with my Benelli M2 after the C-Rums mod. Thanks.
-
Has anyone ever bent or broke a PRI Gasbuster?
-
Will they be posting the stages this week?
-
We had to radio this in for stage commands to know how to shoot the stage. Way cool!
Female cadets too! She was awesome!

Does anyone use 158gr bullets?
If so, what recipes are you using?
-
Keith,
Will we see you at the ICORE matches this weekend in Monson, MA on Sunday or Watervleit, NY on Sunday?
Craig
Craig, thanks for the tips and send me the info on those matches!
I'm getting a 627 V-Comp ready for shooting Open class at the PSA Shootout in late April.
Down the road I'd like to get classified in ICORE.
Unfortunately there's no local ICORE scene so it's tough.
One of our clubs is considering getting ICORE going though... *fingers crossed*
For Short Colt in my 650
I ended up using a .38 super powder funnel, as that's what I had at midnight when I decided to set it up.
I believe I'm using a .38 super or .40 case feed adaptor, again as that's what i had.
You are correct Brian. Dillon responded back to me with this:
You should use the purple case feed adapter for 40 S&W, due to the shortness of the 38 Short Colt case. Other parts are fine.Thank you,
Dillon Precision Products, Inc.

I just found out about the 38 SC a few weeks ago...that is a AWESOME little round. I had to mix and match 9mm and 38/357 dies on my Dillon , but it all worked out.
Do you reload 38 Short Colt on a Dillon XL650?
If so, did you have to use a 9mm powder funnel due to the shortness of the case?
Also, did you have to change the colored plastic tube on the casefeeder at all or does the 38 Special one work?
Thanks!

Money is not the issue in our house.
I don't ask about her packages and she doesn't ask about mine.
I wish she liked me shooting though.

Check out HEAD DOWN rifles at www.headdownproducts.com.
They are a custom AR-15 maker and make some great 3-gun stuff.
-
Looking forward to this match and the night training.
By the way, what does the "Leios Akribos Tachus" on your Combat Weapons Team insignia stand for?
Latin translators fail to decode these words.
Thanks.

Can you use magazines that hold more than 20 rounds in Heavy Metal?
-
LOL!
You did a great job Jesse. You're clearly devoted to the sport. I enjoyed watching that.
