  1. I really find my Curve 8330 does it for me. It has all the features and I have it set up for me now. S/F Vic
  2. Now that, I can believe. An excellent shooter at something like a .40 split might notice it, but not too likely during a match. I think I said half a second and that was just a wag as I haven't ever tried timing it to find out for certain. Heck, during a match I don't even remember or feel a reload if things are going well so how the heck am I gonna notice a trigger reset The Sig Srt trigger or a Glock even will let you get use to trigger rest I still feel the 1911 has the best reset ever made. I added a set screw on my Sig Supermatch 220 Elite, on the short trigger no less and polished all the parts inside and out. S/F Vic
  3. With the lower velocity loads there is usually a fair amount of unburned powder which causes some gumminess when mixed with your lube..might try Bullseye as it is very clean burning...5.0 was the load for major@ 175 PF or 5.1, used by shooters like Bill Wilson and Ken Hackathorn, but 4.5 or 4.4 was a great minor load. Actually 4.6 and up will make major. I shoot 4.5-5.0 of titegroup with .200 gr. Lazercast SWC and .230 gr Speers H.P. For S/D snd in the I use starline brass. S/F Vic
  4. The Standard is 16 for a Goverment model, with a 19 Lbs mainspring. On a Commander I use a 18 Lbs Recoil spring and a 21 Lbs Main Spring. Yet on my Carry gun which I load S/D loads I will use a 20 Lbs and still 21 Mainspring on the commander. On the Gov. 18 Lbs. recoil and 19 Lbs Main spring. I judge it by my loads I am going to use. S/F Vic
  5. I have the older model of Pact timer Chrono and still works like a champ I use it even in indoor ranges with a little tape over the mic
