Thank you guys for the input. Main takeaway - remove the auto drive for now. I’ll do that before I do anymore reloading. I’ve loaded about 5000 rounds on a 750 at a buddy’s house who has years of experience with it. So I think going manual would be better for now anyway. I would love to switch powders to something more dense but when I got the machine it came with 30 lbs of 3n38 so it feels wrong to not use it. I’ll switch to manual and see how we do. Thanks for the help everyone really appreciate the input.

It’s quite full. Like almost full. Spillage happens when it stops at the bullet feed station. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.. if I did can someone move it or something?

I’m very new to reloading, and found myself trading a gun for a super 1050 with an auto drive and all the bells and whistles. I’m loading 9 Major with 9 grains 3n38. The thing is spilling powder like crazy. Running it on the lowest settings but it still seems too fast. Anyone have any tips to help with the spillage?

Concerned about the primers from what perspective? I know they're CCI 500's so I wasn't too worried about them.. should I be?

Wanted to revive this conversation over 6 years later if y'all are cool with that.. I found myself making a wonderful trade last week and got over 10,000 preprimed new 9mm brass (xtreme headstamp?), 10,000 new old stock 9mm lapua brass, thousands of projectiles, powder, etc... I'm loading 9 major with Federal SPM, but since I have all this preprimed brass now, do we think I could load those up for 9 major and just test velocity to see if I need to increase powder slightly?

Was looking at this thread a while back before I ordered mine. Took possession a little over a month ago now. The gun is awesome. It is my first open gun so take from it what you will, but it runs flawlessly. I've put 1100 rounds through it now and not had one issue except when my strong hand thumb was sticking up and the slide rack nailed it. Obviously user error. I'm still working on a reloading set up so I've been shooting Black Dot 9 major. The gun is extremely accurate, smooth, and very fast. Having a lot of fun with it. Happy to put some pictures here if requested.

What up folks. I have an MPA DS9 Comp Open on order set for delivery any day now. I also have an Alpha X holster with a Staccato insert, does anyone know what insert will work for that gun / frame type? Kind of hoping the Staccato insert will just work but I highly doubt it. Really just need some info on holster in general for that gun. P.S this is my first real post on here so I apologize if its in the wrong place..
