The threshold for major is 170, so I wanted to be just 5 above, to evade an old chrono or cold weather (Canada) that may kick me to minor at a L03 match. I’m now 172 with a truckload of Titegroup. So I rather ask my fellow expert fellas as part of my research.

The min. Is 170, so aiming for 175 not to worry about Chrono.

What powder do u IPSC standard major shooters use for a 180gr bullets (40S&W), I used to use Titegroup but I’m not comfortable with a max load to reach barely the required PF. What other powder alternatives?

Not confusing at all, that explained everything to me, as the holster I have, fits the shadow2 perfectly, but it’s too short for the Tanfoglio(with is the limited) mmm. Thanks man

Looking for recommendation for a large frame Tanfoglio holster. Not a race holster. Some sort of closed holster similar to Black scorpion competition holster. the problem is I can find only black scorpion for small frame. Didn’t find any notes large frame. Thanks

I wonder why all posts in regards to OAL for 40s&w 180gr bullets are talking about 1.18-1.20 AOL while all recent manuals noted max OAL 1.13-1.135 (Campro, Hornady, Lyman, Vihtavouri). Even Federal factory ammo is 1.118 has anything changed I’m not aware of as a beginner? (Manuals stated this OAL regardless of bullet shape tc or rn)
