Intercooler2
Does anyone here know of a drawing for the K100 rear dovetail dimensions or coule put one together for me? I measured the slide area in front of the the dove measures .117" to the bottom of the dove, slide area behind the dove measures .069" to the bottom and their is .221" of slide meat between the rear top part of the dove to the end of the slide (near hammer). If I can figure the dovetail cut, I'm hoping to cross a rear adjustable that can be fit with some maching of the sight base.
Intercooler2
Here's a drawing of the dovetail dimensions in mm's. I wasn't far off. Anyone know what sight cut this might mimic?
Intercooler2
Kensight said they could cut this one down from 12.5mm to the 10.50mm of the GP sight at a 40 degree angle to fit. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1005846284/kensight-adjustable-defensive-rear-sight-1911-novak-lomount-cut-steel-black-fully-serrated-blade#
Intercooler2
Any other Grand Power owners interested in these sights? It looks like one other member here would like them to run one off for him while doing mine. If they cut them in a jig, it might be easier to tackle six all at once. blfuller
I would be interested. Will this be a drop in to work with the factory front or will a new front sight be required? Looks like it would be a lot taller than the factory.
Intercooler2
You might need to change the front sight as well. I had already done that making the shooting low issue worse.
valerko
I'd take few of them sights as well
Intercooler2
This didn't work out due to needing a much taller front sight than they could find. My slide is on the way back today.
Oscillate
Hi ...I'm thinking of getting a GP P1 Ultra and was wondering about the pistol's factory sighting. Are the sights set to be at a 6 o'clock, center hold or cover-up sighting position? Thanks in advance.

I have a P1 standard and the only thing I would do is add the FO front sight which I believe the Ultra has. Plus the ultra has the nicer target rear sight as well. Mine is regulated at at 6 o'clock hold.
k80clay
I was king of kicking around the idea of getting one of these pistols. How is the parts support and availability? I hate buying a pistol only to find out only the importer has any parts, and they don't do this or that....I don't think I'd be happy if EAA was the only people I could deal with for parts for the Tanfoglios. valerko
i don't think anybody else but Eagle Imports sells parts. GP is not as wide spread and known as EAA or CZ.it'll be a while till they more more known in US ,since it's relatively small company
