Lee 7/8 slug load data

My Vepr leads the forcing cone severely when I shoot slugs where lead touches the barrel.  A friend gave me some shells loaded with Lyman sabot slugs, problem solved.  I ordered that mold and the lee 7/8 mold. I would actually like to find a low recoil load for the lee slug.  I followed the directions from lee and loaded some with hs6. Wow, these are NOT low recoil!  Does anyone know a load that uses clays, bullseye, or 700x?  Thanks!

Load it like it is birdshot.  We use that same mold and load the starting load for 7/8 ounce of birdshot.  Softest slugs I have ever shot, make sure it will cycle in your gun though.  Also we use either longshot or titegroup I cant remember, but we did just pull the load out of the book, so you might can do the same with WST
