If you're not going to do it yourself, you probably already know where you're going to take it, but just in case... A good friend of mine owns Complete Car Care on Gervais. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best. I still drive/haul anything I can't/won't do to them from North Augusta.

I met the owner back in 96 when a cow-orkerdropped his Volvo off because the battery kept dieing. I took him there to pick it up and they told him it was a loose wire that they tightened and charged him $5. Any other place could have easily hit him for an alternater, voltage regulator, and battery. I haven't taken anything anywhere else since.
