BlueSmoke
How do you members treat the brass with larger than normal flash holes. Do you cull it out of the mix or do you go ahead and load it with the standard cases? I assume the brass with the large flash holes was originally used in LF or HMF primers. Jim Watson
The only place I see enlarged flash holes is first generation Winclean made before they went to small primer NT cases. I just leave them in the mix.
BlueSmoke
The ones with large flash holes I seem to have the most of are Federal, Speer, and Brass Blazer? Regards, BlueSmoke
TonyT
Several years ago I found ca. 100 cases of the Winchester brass with large primer holes. I loaded them and measured the velocity - for all practical purpose they were identical with overlapping SD's.
