Patrick Sweeney
It was, I believe, one of the musketeer movies, or perhaps the Man in the Iron Mask, or one like it. In a French salon, a man is finishing his speech to an assembled group: "....and thus, we know that God does exist." The group enthusiastically applauds. "And if you give me another fifteen minutes, I can prove that God does not exist." Offended and outraged, the group orders him out of the palace, never to return. What movie? (I'd make this a question for a prize, but I don't know the answer.)
Dan Hefta
Was it Frankenstein? Starring Robert De Niro?
Patrick Sweeney
No, pretty sure it was a musketeers-type movie, set in the french royalty period.
