Rye
Been looking for a 12lb or 13lb recoil spring for glock 19. Does anybody know where to get one?
Graham Smith
I think Glockmeister has them.
Duane Thomas
Did a bit of 'net research. ISMI only makes springs for the G19 in the stock 18 pound weight. Wolff doesn't make anything lighter than 15 pounds, and using Wolff springs in a Glock requires replacing the factory guide rod with a larger diameter Wolff steel guide rod. Given how small and light (compared to the larger guns we typically use in competition) a Glock 19 slide is, frankly I'm not convinced a 12/13 pound recoil would be all that great an idea in this gun - assuming you're running competition-level ammo anyway. What do you hope to accomplish here?
FF1063
When you use a light recoil spring, you have to use a light striker spring as well, otherwise the trigger bar will pull the slide out of battery slightly when the trigger is pulled. http://www.custom-glock.com/springtech.html
