Alfie
I shot A7 this weekend and during a field course an RO yelled to another competitor to stand back from the FFZ; it wasn't a clear "STOP" to me but it was enough to make me hiccup during the COF and I kept on trucking. For those who shot the match this was on the Rosa's Revenge stage and if you recall there was a swinger sitting between two No-Shoots about half way down the FFZ. After I finished shooting and went through the whole holstering process we had a brief discussion about letting me re-shoot the stage becuase of the RO's camotion and typically I don't take the re-shoot b/c I never shoot it better. BUT today I was keyed in enough to take a look at the swinger to see my hits before I made a decision (probably not legal but I snuck a look anyway); I had two B's and a C on the target....good enough I thought and said "Score It!" I didn't realize that I had a Mike/No-Shoot combo on the first paper target of the stage which was a pretty simple and close target. This screw up cost me 20 points and nearly a full point on my HF.....
VegasOPM
Unfortunately, you aren't allowed to know your time or score before deciding on a reshoot for RO interference.
XRe
Well.... you are allowed to know your score... if you call all your shots, you already know what it is when you get to the end...
