S-Hurt
I recentlyy received my DSA FAL 308 rifle with iron sights. Are there after market iron sights that are more accurate than the notch / post the rifle came with? Recommendations?
want2race
Your FAL has a notch rear? Mine is a peep. The best option is to swap the lower so you can use an AR rear BUIS. Other than that, get the DSA hooded peep, then drill it out slightly (or use as is, but I found it too small. If you have a close up stage, you can remove the hood and it's a HUGE peep. For the most part, the sights aren't the limiting factor.
Mike P
I use the DSA Hampton lower which has A2 sights, I find them much easier to use with regard to adjustments. Turning the front sight down to a smaller diameter also helps on longer/smaller targets. DSA also sells a lower with a small picatinny rail so you can mount whatever rear sight you want.
