How to do set-up magazine for bigger capacity ? Current capacity is 19 rnds ( Grams kit or Bolen kit) Does it better way standard lenght mag (126mm) with bigger basepad ? ( Bolen 11mm or Dawson ) Thanks for help Jakub Just a shot to get this back to the top for a response. I have "tuned" mags with Dawson base pads and they only hold 19! Any thoughts? Mistral404 Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 I have stock SV mags with Grams parts. 5 out 6 easily hold 19. One holds 20 but is not reloadable. The seventh mag has bolen parts and easily holds twenty. Mine are totally reliable and I do not have spring issues. Some "tuned" mags wear out springs quickly. HSmith mags are tuned to easily hold 20 as are Bob's mags without the spring problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rolex Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 All my SV mags-10- have Bolen guts and 4mm base pads and hold 20. I can put in 21 but they have to be slamed in the gun!
