Mark Stephens
I am looking to purchase a new shotgun for 3-gun comps and am looking hard at the FN SLP. All of the SLPs i've seen have a 3" chamber. All of the Winchester practical guns i've seen have the 2 3/4" chamber. Is it preferable to use the guns with the 3" chamber? I assume there is some dimensional differences with the loading gate/opening for the 2 3/4" guns? I would tend to think the longer opening would be a little easier to load. Does anyone have any experience loading both and have an opinion on which they prefer? I have seen a couple used winchester's but am hesitant on making a purchase. Thanks for the info! ken hebert
(I own both) Pick one and buy it, they are exactly the same, one says FN and one says Winchester.
