Aristotle
You're not talking about the small allen head screws on top and bottom are you? Those are the adjustment screws and do not actually remove the mount. If I remember mine correctly, there is a screw on the side that allows the pin to slide out the side. Then the shield just comes off.

Should i just punch it with a pin puncher, but there's a great deal of resistance and I don't want to break my c-more. The blast shield is worn out already. Aristotle
Wait, I'm an idiot. I think that the set screw holds the big pin in place. you should be able to slide that pin out now with one of the set screws in place. The other set screw is so you can offset it a little to adjust the angle if I remember. Sorry, by "Pin" I mean the metal pin that slides through your C More and through the mount. A set screw gooes through a "groove" in the pin and holds it in place. But I don't remember if it's the top or bottom, sorry I'm at work my gun is at home, I'll know for sure in a few hours. cybrosh
The upper screw holds the bigger rod/pin in place, while the lower one helps stabilize the blast shield to the cmore/offset angles, just like Aristotle said.
Rye
Got it. It seems that the upper screw is filty dirty. I might have to remove all the gunk first before i can remove them. Thank you guys.
