Mikej Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 My sister bought a Ruger Single Six and another old gun at a moving sale today. I am hoping someone can help identify the old gun. It is a 22 with an 8 shot removeable cyclinder. There is a serial number on the bottom of the trigger guard. It starts with the letter N and then 5 numbers. Their are no visible markings on the barrel. Their are some faint markings. One line starts with a couple of unreadable letters and finishes with "J Target SEALED 8". A second line has some faint marks and finishes with A&C WKS and the bottom line says FITCHBURG, MASS. USA. The gun has wooden grips with a double diamond design eteched in the wood.
