I talked to a very knowledgeable gentlemen who said he didn't think they would have such an item because that model had not been produced in some time and only a few were ever made, but that he would search around in the parts room and send me one if he found it. Today, in the mail, I received a brand new muzzle cap FREE of charge ... Now that's what I call Customer Service !!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had an extractor star problem (it wasn't machined right) on my 460XVR. Call them on a Monday had a shipping box at the house on Tuesday. Shipped it out on Wednesday. Got a call from them on Friday that they received the gun. Saturday afternoon the gun was finished and on my door step. They didn't just fix the extractor star, Smith replaced the whole cylinder!!
