rupie
This might be a dumb question and I have NEVER asked a dumb question before so bear with me. Is there anything interchangeable between 9mm and 40 cal glock magazines? can you cross the parts and use the bodies on the other calibers? also can you use arredondo +5 base pads on 40 magazines? I currently shoot a 17 and am buying a 40 and wondering if anything I have can cross. Edited November 4, 2008 by rupie
gunnerBU
The mag body feed lips and followers are different dimensions, so they probly won't function properly with the different caliber. I'm not sure about the springs and stock basepads though. The arredondo basepads can be used on 9mm and .40 mags.
Jman
Only springs and base pads. Jim
rupie
OK so the arredondo base pads and springs are the same for either magazine?
gunnerBU
Yeah they'll work for both mags.
