lugnut
Am I really adaptable, or just not so good with a 1911, even after 30 years????? I guess so! I think the 30 years helps you. You've got 27 over me. I wish I started this 20 years ago when the eyes we better.
Duane Thomas
Am I really adaptable, or just not so good with a 1911, even after 30 years????? You're really adaptable. I know for a fact, from watching you shoot, that you're pretty darn good with a 1911.
lugnut
Well... funny thing. I just made CDP Expert by a bump at the Indoor Nationals with my G21SF. So I made 3 Gun Expert and I'm quite pleased now. Funny how time flies since I posted this. I think I have more potential with the G21SF but I'm pleased with my results and now will be focusing on another gun... or guns. I like the G21SF but like the small frames better. I went to practice tonight and shot the G34 like I never left her! Well... except for the reloads. However another thing has happened. I have a G35 that I recently set up as a Limited gun... Oh God... soo many damn decisions. And then there are these round gun thingies... Interestly enough- while at the Indoor Nationals- I went to a seminar by Dave Olhasso. He encourages people to shoot different guns and try different styles of matches to help "cross train". I'm sure I'll find a happy middle ground...
