I am retired Navy, working for Rotary Wing Test squadron at Pax River, Md. I work with Mike now. My oldest just completed OCS at Quantico. He graduates from KU in May, attends TBS and then off to flight school. God help us...I pitty the enemy!

MCAS(H) Santa Ana/Tustin,(HMH-363,HMT-301) Quantico, Va (HMX-1) NAS Willow Grove (HMH-772) Love hearing that name "shitter" . blast from the past!! Do you know Mike Mcglinchey from your HMX days? I am retired Navy, working for Rotary Wing Test squadron at Pax River, Md. I work with Mike now. My oldest just completed OCS at Quantico. He graduates from KU in May, attends TBS and then off to flight school. God help us...I pitty the enemy! The name doesn't ring a bell. I was there 77-79. Spent alot of time flying candidates amd boot looies around quantico. My last Sqdn (HMT-301) was a pilot training squadron. We got them right after they finished pensacola. Some hairy moments with those guys (mostly on the controlled crashes - what they called "landing" ). Most of the new guys were pretty cool and eager to learn. Others let the shiny bars on their collar go to their head and needed a bit of an atitude adjustment.
