Opinion / Interpretation of Handwritten Will

Recommended Posts

The world is full of surprises.

When I follow the money, I find surprisingly few surprises.

I spent a while wondering why the woman named in the estate called reneet.

not wanting the estate is less of a puzzle....

the olny reason I could think up for her calling is that she saw that

something was not right and it unsettled her.

the children not getting the estate and her call to reneet are consistant

that leads me to why is xyz in court to claim the estate so quick?

they KNEW she had renounced the estate

and the only way they could have known was to be talking to her.

thus the influence....

ah my dear if you let the estate go, the children will get it.

you want that right?

(knowing full well that the law says otherwise)

there are a LOT of ways to have such influence....

once she saw what happened, she called.

so yes I do not KNOW it to be true..... it sure explains a lot.

since the money is at the heart of this

I can see xyz's motives.

Get the woman to let go and we have a pile o free money!

thus big incentive to influence, again...

when I get to the same place two different ways,

I cease to question.

get that in front of a jury and who do you think they will believe?

Reneet's problem is retrieving anything from this bad situation.

The saga continues . . .

My understanding of XYZ Charity argument is the renunciation by Julia M. was conditional. Saying she understood that the entire estate would devolve to XYZ charity.

My attorney is saying that XYZ Charity is arguing to revoke Julia M.'s renunciation, that there is no provision for this and the succession should now be considered intestate.

XYZ Attorney has been attempting to get other people to state . . .

Daddy's intent & Reasons for Julia M.s renunciation - my attorney has objected as hearsay and has mostly been upheld.

Julia M. did not show up for the 1st court date Sept. 29, nor was she there on Oct. 3. The judge has set another date (Oct. 14) for Julia M. to "testify". It is my personal belief that whether her presence is requested or demanded (by subpoena), she will most likely not show up for a couple of reasons. #1 - she's lied & #2 - she's afraid (of what exactly, I'm not sure).

Also found out that she (Julia M.) is not currently financially secure and actually needed the money. Why she didn't just take it is beyond me.
