superdelsol
My name is Scott and I own an EAA Witness EA9SS that I bought back in 1993. The gun has always shot low, and I recently found that EAA offers a higher rear sight to fix the problem. My pistol is stainless steel, not the wonder finish, and I have not seen another one like it. Apparently it was made from 92-96. It seems to be unique in that both sights are dovetailed, like some of the older designs, and both are 9mm at the base. I am hoping to fix the low bullet impact problem, and maybe improve the sights at the same time. Does anybody know of upgraded sights that will fit this gun. I would like just about anything that would be an improvement on the simple 3 dot sights that are on the gun. I'm open to fiber optic, night sights, or adjustable sights. I've seen the Baby Eagle Millett sights at MRI, and Millett shows a PN for BRNO CZ-75, TZ-75, and TA-90 (older model without pinned on front). Meprolight shows night sights for both the Baby Eagle and the TA-90 with different PNs. Trijicon shows Baby Eagle / Jericho night sights. The first problem is getting something to fit the dovetails, the second problem is something that will hit point of aim when installed. The gun is stock except for Hogue wrap around grips, and an extra barrel with compensator. I hope that somebody here can steer me straight on sight options. Thanks Edited September 5, 2008 by superdelsol
Al Capizzo
It seems like the Millet sights listed for TZ-75 will fit, but don't know if it will solve your problem. Maybe you can measure the dovetail, find a front sight in Brownells that will fit, then file the front sight down until you're shooting to point of aim. Or file down the front sight you already have. MickB
LPA makes sights that should fit. They will still sit pretty high in that dovetail, though.... Mick
