pevadijk
I've replaced my Recolmaster with a regular guiderod and a 10lb recoilspring, but it looks like the standard mainspring is a bit heavy (don't know what the standard rate is). I want to replace the mainspring, but should I try 15, 17 or 19lb??
Rumpy
If it is any help. I had a custom STI 9mm standard gun, it came with a 9lb recoil spring and it just didn't feel right. I tried numerous others and ended up with a 12.5lb recoil spring and the sweetest shooter I think I had a 17lb mainspring.
pevadijk
I have a 10lb spring and a Shock Buff and it tracks real nicely, but I guess it shoots even smoother with a lighter mainspring...........I guess I'll order some and start playing ;-)
