mactiger
Just a note to remind/inform everyone entered into the Manual Rifle Match at this year's 3 Gun Nationals. I've recently had some inquiries as to what qualifies as a "manual" rifle, and got some information about what was used at last year's side match. Because of these discussions, I feel it is important to clarify the intent of the manual rifle match. Manual Rifle means bolt or lever action guns--manual to extract the fired round, and manual to chamber the next one. A gas-blocked AR type rifle is not going to qualify for manual rifle, unless the spring is disabled, as well. Again, max distance will be 550-600 yards. Par times on the standards will be adjusted (increased) once we have it set up and can do some testing. We'll let you know the times as soon as possible, but that may be Saturday morning. There will be a sight in range available for your use beginning on Friday afternoon.
