PistolPete
Here is the deal. I'm looking for info on loading .45 ACP rounds. I have Carrol brand Magnum Alloy cast bullets. They are 185 grain semiwadcutters with a plain base. I have Federal primers and once fired brass. I have manuals on reloading but all the manuals have powder recipes for Hodgon powders. I have this powder but I was told to get Alliant Bullseye posder because it burns quicker and is great for light "steel" loads. I found their website and they have some recipes but the one that is for 185 grain states it's for 185 JHP and I'm using semiwadcutters. Will the powder charge be the same or should I find another source? Anyone have any recommendations on how much powder I should use? Here is the link to the chart I was referring to: http://recipes.alliantpowder.com/rg.taf?_f...descr=185%20JHP
