Philip Dedmon
It's not that bad, must have wiped it off with a towel with some dirt or something on it. Any suggestions?

EricW
One thing you *might* try is Mirror Glaze plexiglass cleaner/polisher. It's kind of a off-white, milky liquid. It doesn't seem to remove scratches as much as fill them in a little and make them less noticable. It's designed for acrylic, so you might want to make sure of your lens' composition before you try. If your lens is made of polycarbonate - you can just forget trying to polish it. It's impossible by any means available to mere mortals. You'll only make matters worse. Use kid gloves and an immaculately clean 100% cotton t-shirt for polishing. Make sure your lens is perfectly clean before polishing too. Hot soapy water followed by a hot water rinse does the trick. Do NOT wash the lens after using the Mirror Glaze. You'll only wash it off and bring the scratches right back.
