Rocket35 Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 Well I thought I would take the advice from Mr. Keen and save some of those long Wilson basepads and grind them from .600" to .450" using 80 grit sandpaper. The .350" ones work, but this will give me a bit more insurance when inserting the mag into the gun. And this length seems to fit within the box requirements. Chris Keen Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 I just fired up the grinder (read: Extremely Large Dremel), got a cup of coffee, came back & applied lateral pressure to each basepad with the grinder running full tilt! I did not worry about angles, or cleanliness, or anything else except - Does it fit in the Single Stack box? They didn't used to ............. but boy they sure do now!
