Vitaly
Would really appreciate some recipes for 185 Lead SWC over Titegroup. Can't find data in my books nor on Hogdon's site... Please?
EricW
Why not just back the load they have for the jacketed bullet off 10 to 20% and go from there?
Guest Larry Cazes
I never did understand why some folks like 185 grn for .45ACP. Everytime I experiment with them I end up with more blast and recoil then with 200-230 grn bullets. What is the reason you want to try bullets this light? wide45
I used the 185's for a while under the 175 PF. I was hitting the range twice a week, and the extra blast did not bother me. I liked the reduced flip. When I stopped going to the range that often, the blast and recoil became more of a problem. I also decided that fast splits, were not the same as hits, but thats just me. Vitaly
Thanks for the input people, I will back the load some. Normally I am using 200 gr LSWC, but someone gave me a box of 185gr heads. Hence the inquiry. Thanks again. V.
