Forester
I was tipped to add a used dryer sheet to my tumbling media. It seems to collect the dirt and dust. I just add one to each new batch of tumbled brass and throw the old away. Cut up paper towels works also.My media is walnut hulls (pet store) with a squirt of nufinish. Keith Its funny, I was told this too, and did it for years. Then for some unknown reason I stopped and never saw any difference. Maybe because I pitch the media before there is any appreciable dust anyway?
ChrisStock
The wife has even taken to placing all of the used dryer sheets in a box for me at this point. I swap it out once per tumbling session and it takes a lot of the grunge away.
