PINMAN44
Our Core is vital. By strengthening the abdominals (Rectus, transverse,internal/external obliques) You can lower your risk of lumbar spine issues and cardiovascular illnesses. Remember there is no sound surgery for the spine, so protect it! Some things you should NOT do to train your abs are. Do NOT perform hundreds of crunches. The optimal amount is anywhere from 12-15 repetitions holding, squeezing, breathing. To get larger and stronger abdominals you must use the overload principle. Do NOT buy into marketing hype. Do NOT starve yourself. To become leaner you need multiple meals to supercharge your metabolism. Thing of your metabolism as a campfire, you must add kindling to the fire every so many hours to keep it burning, other wise it slows down. Do NOT use diet pills. If you believe than you can achieve. Just remember everyone's genetics are different so it may take longer for others. Work all abdominals equally, meaning do not just work on your upper abdominals and neglect your lower ones. This can create imbalances which are not good. Hope this has helped some of you guys. Train hard.
