Merlin Orr Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 Keith I set mine up with the edge of the flange flush with the edge of the mounting surface (table front) This puts the bolt holes just a little (perhaps .75" back from the outside edge of the table top. I think the further you have to reach the harder it is to load and the quicker you tire out. I stand when I load and like to be close to my rig... FM My bench is 30" i will be sitting and bolting the 550b right to the bench top.
