BigDave
I hate the fact that our last monthly match had, in the course of 5 stages, 7 mandatory reloads and 8 seperate strings in 3 of the 5 stages, for a total fo 10 different starts. The match started late (yes, I was there for set up, and ran the new shooter orientation, and RO'd) and took over 5 hours for 25 shooters to complete, before tear down. Man that drives me up a wall!!! However, there is an upside. I think the MD and RO's took the whole day as a lesson on "what not to do" in a monthly match. Proof positive that sometimes what looks good on paper, doesn't go so well live. High (f**k**g, son-of-a-b***h, c**ks*****g) round count matches don't mean a damn thing if they don't run smooth. Adequate prior planning, a good dose of forsight could have eliminated or lessened a lot of the problems we encountered. I had to wait 3 days to vent this, now I'm glad I did.
