ANDYZ
I am considering cutting down my FSB on my 16" cabine and getting a full length free float tube to get a larger surface area up front. I'm using an EOTech and I don't need a BUS or quad rails, this is just a range gun, just a simple freefloat tube that will fit over the cutdown front sight. I have seen tubes that will fit over a low profile gasblock...is a low profile gas block be any more low profile than a cutdown FSB?
Derek45
Spend another $50 and get an ultra low profile gas block. LaRue and Badger Ordnance make good ones that fit under just about anything. Edited May 16, 2007 by Derek45
uscbigdawg
Any will fit over a cut down FSB. JP, Briley, Clark, DPMS, et. al. are all great. Rich
ANDYZ
Excellent, I don't really see the need to get a gas block when it will be doing the same thing and I won't even see it (under the handguards). Only thing i can think of why I would get one is if I wanted to put the standard front sight back on.
