Moving targets and focus

We had a stage at the Ohio match with two swingers that had diagonal hard-cover on them.  I got past the first one OK.  On the second swinger, I noticed that when it came time for my second shot...I didn't know where it was going to go.  It was kinda neat...I wasn't really thinking, but I realized that I was focused on the moving target.  My eyes then kinda pulled back so that I was focused on the front sight...and I got my hits.  

On another mover ...this one a set of disappearing targets that went from right to left, showing themselves in a wide window...both DBChaffin and I lead the first taget too much.  Not sure what to make of that yet.
