toowide Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 I am using Chip McCormick Power Mags in my 1911. With my Mag well the base pads barely stick out past the bottom. I have the long base pads from the factory. I need something longer. they are the slide on type. anyone know where i can find longer ones. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LPatterson Posted March 31, 2007 Share Posted March 31, 2007 For an 8 round mag the factory .625 extension is as long as it gets, anything longer and I doubt it will fit in the SS box. With my BOMAR I had to sand the nose of the floor plate to fit. I switched to a 230gr 168PF load and lowered my sight a little. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
