Ron Ankeny Posted May 16, 2002 Share Posted May 16, 2002 I almost hate to admit this, but what the heck. In another post one of the forum members talks about dummy rounds in dry fire. I made up a whole bunch of dummy rounds to simulate the weight of a loaded magazine for use during various dry fire drills. Can you imagine my suprise when I shot to slidelock in a local IDPA match then proceeded to charge the pistol with a magazine full of dummy rounds? Good grief...talk about a mental midget. Bigbadaboom Posted May 17, 2002 Share Posted May 17, 2002 Doen't feel bad Ron, I was doing draws at a safe area with my Safe mag in my gun and when I finished I left it in. When I got on line and was told to "load and make ready" I took it out and put it in my mag pouch farthest to my rear. Well guess what I did!!
