9mm Mags For A Kimber

Researching this has made my head spin. Which mags will work reliably with a Kimber Target II?

Kimber, MecGar, Metalform all make them. Do the ones listed as "Springfield" work in the Kimber? If I get some Metalform mags, are the "Springfield 9mm Front Ramp configuration" the cats meow for the Kimber?

Price range is anywhere from $19 to $45... do you get your moneys worth if you spend more?

They've been utterly reliable in mine, and I believe others will echo the experience.

Definitely worth spending a little more for the front ramp. The "rear spacer" designs are ~90% reliable for me (YMMV), but the ~10% of the time they weren't always seemed to occur at critical junctures in matches... Not worth the aggro...

The Chip McCormick Shooting Star 38 Super mags seem to have an outstanding track record for reliability and you can load 10 rounds of 9mm in them. I too have heard the Springfield mags work well but don't have any actual experience with them.

+1 Buy the "Springfield" Metalform mags. They're well worth the small difference in price. Much better made than the others construction wise.

I vote for the "Springer" mags. too. I spent damn near as much money on mags. and springs as I did on my 9 mil. 1911.... before I found these---- and they work.
