Hello,

I already searched for IONBOND on this thread,

but didn't find what I was looking for.

I saw Taran Butler wearing this brand on his shirt at nationals. It seems that they do the PVD coating and have several locations nationwide, including fairly close in Oregon near me.

I was wondering if anyone has had any firearms finished by them and how was the service/price/timeline?

Call the IONBOND office in greensboro, NC. Their phone number is (336) 665-0005. Ask for Meredith Sapp. Shes in charge of the firearms coating division. They do high volume coatings for SIG and some other company I can't remember. I saw a stainless SIG the other day coated with the IONBOND technique and it looks pretty good. She did say if you want a polished look, the base metal needs to be polished. flat, matte look and the base metal needs to be sand/bead blasted. I'm gonna have a few of my projects coated by them but it won't be any time soon. Give her a call. Shes very helpful.
