I also wonder where the best place to get spare springs is? I mean, I have an extra pair, but where else? Write the company? DBChaffin Posted February 20, 2002 Share Posted February 20, 2002 I spoke with a gunsmith here that installs Aftec's, and he says the springs should last almost indefinitely. He said it is more likely that you will lose one of the springs than need to replace it. He then said if it made you feel better, change them every few years. I'm still looking for other opinions though. Dawson Precision does sell replacement springs, but they even talk about the problem of losing them, not of them wearing out. Anyone add to this?
