Update - Military Veterans At Idpa Nationals

Robert Ray from IDPA headquarters has responded several times to a thread on IDPA forum asking about this category of shooters.

Quoting from his last response:

OK, here is where we are at. Some of you may know that we are using Beach Bunny Software this year to score Nationals. When the issue of the High Veterans trophy came up, unbeknownst to me, we had used all the available slots built into the software for sub divisions. I got on here (before finding this out and talking to Jane) and said we were going to look into adding it. I posted that late in the day and did not have time to talk to Jane till the next day. By then, she had already started working on getting this added into the program. Thank you Jane.

Ok so the trophy is ordered and we can recognize it in the software, almost home. Now we have to get the info entered. For that we will have to ask that competitors notify us during sign-in. This will be a little bit of a hassle but we think the best way. I know that some of the folks here post on other sites. I ask that they please pass this info along. It will help us get the word out. I look forward to seeing you at the Nationals.

I also want to add that Jane has been working closely with us to add some features to the program that we wanted for Nationals. A big one of with was to allow 18 stages. She has been a tremendous help in making her software work for us. I can not thank her enough.

Robert Ray

That's good to hear. I'm glad that a military veteran's trophy is being presented.

Also anyone who runs large IDPA matches who has not tried Jane's scoring software is doing themselves a great disservice. Beach Bunny Software has the best IDPA scoring system around. Nothing compares.
