spook Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 A friend of mine just broke the STI Bomar-style rear sight on his BULM5. He started out with a regular BULM5 Bomar-style adjustables on his BULM5. The windage adjustment screw broke off, and he had the sight replaced with a STI Bomar-style rear sight (he had lying around). Unfortunately the guy who replaced it didn't do a great job. He couldn't fit it in the dovetail, so he altered the rear sight (fortunately he didn't touch the slide) and the sight was all wiggly. It broke last week only three months after installation. I was wondering which sight you guys would install on a Bo-Mar cut? He needs a bomb-proof sight. Anything fixed out there he could just put on there? The most solid adjustables seem to be Wilson's adjustables (from the search I did). Any suggestions are welcome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jaxshooter Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 I have the Wilson sights on several Wilson single stacks and have never had a problem with any of them. They hold adjustments never had the windage or elevation screws loosen. You may want to look at the Bomar Brand sights from Brownells thet are bullet proof also.
