old john
I just purchased some new Armscor in 9mm. I am having trouble with primers blowing out and presure signs at 167 pf. Crimp, oal and charge are the same as what is working in once fired. Anyone else had this problem with Armscor? thanks, Old John
open17
Purchased some Armscor----what? Brass? Bullets? Loaded ammo? I've run through 15,000 or so Armscor bullets in Major 9 with no problems.
blackdragon
Old john, I assume you are talking about brass? I haven't heard of this. Please send me the cases! Ivan
old john
Ivan, I've got the problem fixed. Thanks for asking. True blue in south fl. when the heat is over 90 degrees needs to be adjusted down from the winter load. I just shot area 6 with the charge lowered 2/3 grain and all was well out of the heat and above sea level. I now feel very good about the armscor brass and understand true blue doesn't like it hot out side. ( I know Paul, but it meters great!) The load now is a 115 armscor bullet over the armscor 9mm brass with 8.8 grains of true blue @ 1.165 making 168pf. Old John Old john,I assume you are talking about brass? I haven't heard of this.
