Checkering Front Strap

Caspian also sells cut down frames for about $20.00 a piece. Perfect for checkering practice.

I called Caspian and checked into this. Caspian calls them checkering blanks and they're $25 a piece. They don't have them in stock all the time, they usually get a few each week and sell them fairly regularly. I was told that the dust cover is cut off just in front of the trigger guard and the rails are milled off. Pin holes may or may not be drilled or they may be in the wrong location. Good for checkering practice but possibly not good for beavertail cutting practice.
