cruiten
I have been thinking about getting into 3-gun and I have been doing a bit of research on what should be my first shotgun. This forum has a wealth of information on people's opinions about the Remington 1100/11-87 platform vs. the Benelli platform vs. the Winchester platform; It has been fun reading everyone's input... So I have it narrowed down to either the Remington 11-87 or the Benelli M1 Super 90 Field... When I went to the Benelli USA web-site (http://www.benelliusa.com), I was surprised that I did not see any references to the Benelli M1 Field in 12 gauge, it only mentions that the M1 Field is configured in 20 gauge and I also did not see anything regarding "Super 90". Does Benelli no longer sell the M1 Field in 12 gauge, and/or do they no longer sell the Super 90 model of the M1 Field? When I went on the Italian Benelli site (http://www.benelli.it), it does show the M1 Super 90, but it made no reference to "Field" in the model. I see that the M1 Super 90 is still available on the used market though... Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks, Cor
Larry White
Been replaced by the m2. Has all the recoil reduction stuff. still the one to use, all the tubes ect still fit. More bucks of coarse. They do shoot a little softer. Worth it? Up to you.------Larry
