Hotwings2001
Ok, lets not get too technical here and excuse my use of possibly the wrong reference words to what Im describing but here goes. I just got a X2 for 3 gun. It came with a "Briley Charge Handle or bolt handle. I was in the middle of clearing the gun after a stage and the handle comes off in my hand. It didnt look broken at all but Im curious what actually hold this part in place. It looks like there is a notch cut in it for a ball bearing like in a wratchet. Does the handle just push in and stay or what? Hopefully you guys have some dealings with this or a like problem. Any info would be great and especially if my gun isnt hurt cause of this. stingerjg
The 'charge handle' is held in w/ a detent spring and ball. Just push it in. To me it sounds like the spring has gotten weak and will need replaced. For some reason i cant get to the Brownells site right now. Check back l8r and ill post a part # for the spring. Hotwings2001
Yes, Thats what I thought. It kinda blew my mind that my new gun had shelled on me but then it just pushed back into place. Thanks for answering my question and its off to Brownell's we go.
AlamoShooter
Its one way to play with new shooters , Say wow nice charge handel ...grab and pull, say Oh No! In the safe area of course One thing when caseing the gun you can close the bolt and remove the handel keeping it from catching in the case.
