Dumb Moonclip Question

I've got two S&W moonclip guns - a 1917 and a M22-4 (Thunder Ranch Special). I have something in the back of my head that tells me there was an extractor star re-design that requires different moonclips for the newer gun. Is this correct, or am I just bonkers (again)?

If I do need different ones, will the $25/100 ones from Ranch Products work?

FWIW, the 22-4 went back to S&W for front sight replacement to bring the POI to the POA. This was a problem with most of the first production run. The good news is that I'm having their Master Revolver Action Job done, since the shipping was free, and it's on Vito's bench.
